      Kristen
              Johnson Ingram is a writer, writing teacher, and licensed preacher
              in the Episcopal Church. Ingram
              has written nearly twenty books, including Wine at the End
              of the Feast: Embracing Spiritual Change as We Age and the
              explorefaith.org book titled  Beyond
              Words: 15 Ways of Doing Prayer. She teaches at writers'
              conferences, directed the Oregon Christian Writers' Conference
              for four years, and is a photographer. She leads workshops on suicide
              prevention and directs retreats. 
      Ingram lives with her husband Ron, a Shi-Tzu named Tai Pan, and Grendel, a criminal cat, in a house at the edge of the woods near the McKenzie River in Springfield, Oregon.
