A 1980 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Painting, David has spent the last twenty-five years working on both commissioned murals and paintings, while developing his own personal works consisting of oils and acrylics on board, canvas or paper. David has worked in conjunction with various architects and interior designers, creating site specific murals for both commercial and residential projects, including a 14' X 27' mural in the Grand Lobby of Memphis' Redbirds Stadium. David's more personal work, oils or acrylics on canvas, board or paper tend to be rather traditional in both subject matter and use of materials. The subjects; landscapes, figures and more recently, abstract painted collages with an Asian influence tend to be somewhat moody, atmospheric and at times a bit nostalgic.
